Neptune Jupiter Chiron Conjunction 2009 - 2010

It takes Neptune approximately 165 years to complete its cycle. It takes Jupiter approximately 12 years to complete its cycle. And, it takes Chiron approximately 50 years to complete its cycle. The conjunction of these three is a rare occurrence. The last time these three were together was 1945 in Virgo/Libra, after World War II. A time that signified hope, peace and much needed healing for us in our relationships. This is definitely the beginning of new cycle! As a side note, these three are in the sign of Aquarius ruled by Uranus. Neptune is in mutual reception with Uranus and this conjunction is semi-sextile to Uranus. There is a significant amount of Uranus energy involved, too.

Neptune's function is one of the most difficult to understand. It is often illusionary, unclear and in some cases imaginary. On a higher level it allows us to have faith in the unknown to understand that even if we don't understand it doesn't mean it doesn't exist. Religion is a classic example of Neptune's function. Neptune can put a veil of illusion or give an uncertain impression of a situation or person. Subtleties and nuances are Neptune's strength which can linger around without manifesting anything or resolving problems. Neptune n energy is tricky; it can work for you or against you by amplifying and accelerating the energy of not seeing clearly. When something isn't clear it tends to increase our fears and Neptune rules this function. The best way to deal with Neptune is to look at people or situation with optimism and have faith that things will work out. Look for the silver lining in situation and the good in others.

Jupiter's function is to expand, blow up, amplify, and to teach you how to relate to people. As the planet of faith, Jupiter is your belief system, your philosophy and shows you where to seek to grow and expand your life. Jupiter helps to keep your sense of humor when things go wrong. You must be careful with Jupiter due to his over-optimism; energies can scatter and you may not know when enough is enough. He has endless possibilities. The best way to deal with Jupiter is to keep your hopes high, have faith, and trust yourself in whatever you do. Try viewing situations with higher knowledge and ethical beliefs and be generous towards those less fortunate. Jupiter will often protect you and give you lucky breaks. The house where Jupiter is natally shows where you express and do things on a large scale. You will not be able to ignore Jupiter.

Chiron's function is to expand your consciousness, give insight and spiritual awareness to help in times of inner change. This aids in healing of past wounds.
