Refunds and Cancellations
Notice of cancellation must be given to the LCAS in writing to qualify for a refund.
- 100% refund before the 1st week of class.
- $85 if class dropped prior to the 2nd week of an 8 week course
- $40 refund if class dropped prior to the 2nd week of a 4 week course
- No refunds after attending the 2nd week of course.
- Seminars - 100% refund if LCAS receives notification
one full week prior to the date of the seminar.
Excessive Absence, Failing Grades, Unsatisfactory Conduct
Excessive absence, failing grades and/or unsatisfactory conduct may result in dismissal. Any dismissal for the above reasons will not release the student of payment responsibility as set forth above nor will it release the LCAS from the refund policy
Absences Due to Emergencies
If the class is missed due to emergency absences is equal to or more than 75% of the classes, and the refund is approved by the LCAS Board of Directors, then the LCAS will refund money to the student on a percentage basis according to the number of weekly classes attended.
Retakes
LCAS students who wish to retake a class can do so at the reduced price of 60% of the cost with instructor agreement. Please note that students must bring previously given material, as only new material will be provided. Minimum attendance for the class must be met before retake rates can come into effect in order to meet rent, instructor and administrative cost.
